Nifty fails to hold 8150 as selling intensified at higher levels. Nifty’s range for the day is 68.65 points and it closed up 0.19 % compared to Monday’s closing value.

In the cash segment FIIs were sellers to the tune of Rs 715 crores and DIIs net buyers to the tune of  Rs 534 crores.

FIIs bought net 10,146 contracts of index futures, bought net 11,137 contracts of index calls and bought net 12,944 contracts of index puts

Now FIIs are holding net long 17,594 contracts of index futures, net short 17,001 contracts of index calls and net long 296,139 contracts of index puts.

Retailers bought net 1,806 contracts of index futures,  sold net 5,627 contracts of index calls and bought 14,341 net  contracts of index puts

Pros sold net  11,247 contracts of index futures, sold net 5,510 contracts of index calls and sold net 27,286 contracts of index puts.
