Nifty closes below 8650; Infy and Bharti fall

Nifty closes below 8650. Cipla gains 7% while Bharti Airtel sheds 4%

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 685  crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 109 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs sold 1,287  contracts of Index Futures and sold 3,868 contracts of Index calls.
They also bot 10,185 contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 20,868 (-3,503) in Index Futures contracts.
