Nifty Closes above 8650

Nifty closes above 8650. Adani Ports, Power Grid up 3%

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 162  crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 14 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs bought 859 contracts of Index Futures and bought 13,066 contracts of Index calls.
They also bought 6,440 contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 20,560 (-303) in Index Futures contracts.
