Nifty ends above 8800

Nifty ends above 8800. Indusind Bank up 3% and TCS up 2%. Nifty’s range for the day is 50.1 points and it closed up by 0.33 % compared to Friday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 205 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net sellers to the tune of  Rs 252 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs sold 6,280  contracts of Index Futures and sold 7,711 contracts of Index calls.
They also bought 1,359  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 7,370 (-4) in Index Futures contracts.
