Nifty ends below 8800 in volatile trading. Nifty’s range for the day is 57.15 points and it closed down by 0.37 % compared to Monday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 1,147 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net buyers to the tune of  Rs 778 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs sold 1,617  contracts of Index Futures and sold 15,192 contracts of Index calls.
They also sold 14,333  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 7,410 (+40) in Index Futures contracts.

Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) data shows support at 8700 and resistance at 8800
