Nifty ends flat

Nifty ends the day with marginal gains. Nifty’s range for the day is 74.6 points and it closed marginally up compared to Wednesday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 470 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net buyers to the tune of  Rs 857 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs bought 22,879 contracts of Index Futures and sold 17,558 contracts of Index calls.
They also sold  84,657  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 8,094 (down 2,652) in Index Futures contracts.
