Nifty fails to hold 8650

Nifty closed flat for the day after making an intra-day high of 8669.6. It traded higher for major part of the day on account of better PMI numbers. Lack of buying interest and volatility in European indices made Nifty to end flat for the day. Nifty’s range for the day is 55.1 points and it closed marginally up compared to Friday’s closing value.
