Nifty ends below 8100

Nifty closes below 8100 on account of sustained FII selling. Nifty’s range for the day is 90.95 points and it closed up 0.39 % compared to Tuesday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 984 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net buyers to the tune of  Rs 1,144 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs bought 4,058 contracts of Index Futures and sold 12,742  contracts of Index calls.
They also bought 11,228  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net long by 18,794 (down 6,579)  Index Futures contracts.
