Nifty ends Flat!

Nifty and Sensex ended flat for the day. Nifty’s range for the day is 80 points and it closed up 0.16 % compared to Friday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 1,436 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net buyers to the tune of  Rs 1,234 crores.

Today FIIs sold net 185 contracts of index futures, bought net 11523 contracts of index calls and bought net 13823 contracts of index puts.

Now FIIs are holding 7448 contracts of index futures net long,  28138 contracts of index calls net short and  283195 contracts of index puts net long.

Retailers bought net 5295 contracts of index futures,  sold net 2959 contracts of index calls and sold 8089 net  contracts of index puts.

Pros sold net  4125 contracts of index futures, sold net 8297 contracts of index calls and sold net 5734 contracts of index puts

Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) data shows support at 8000 and resistance at 8200
