Nifty ends on a high note!

Nifty at ten-month closing high! It ended on a high note for the day at 8565 helped by PSU banks. In cash segment, Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 870 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 874 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs bought 6,811 contracts of Index Futures and sold 132 contracts of Index calls. They also bought 12,557 contracts of Index puts. DIIs  are net short by 14,622 contracts in index futures.

Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) data shows 8500 as support instead of 8400 and 8600 as resistance.
