FIIs Steadily add Index futures longs
After two days of Consolidation, Nifty and Bank Nifty end at fresh 11-Month closing highs. NSE Pharma, Realty and Energy indices rallied between 1-2%. Nifty closed at 8565 with a gain of 35 points.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 215 Crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 45 Crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs bought 941 contracts of Index futures and sold 4183 contracts of Index calls. They also bought 975 contracts of Index puts.
As of today FIIs are net long in 228442 contracts of Index Futures, 29023 contracts of Index calls and 241554 contracts of Index puts. DIIs are net short by 15,474 in Index Futures contracts.

Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) data shows support at 8500 and Resistance at 8600.
