F&O – Open Interest Report for 27th June 2016

After a dramatic Black Friday due to BREXIT, Nifty opened at 8058  and made a low of 8054 in the first 5 minutes. Later it consolidated between 8075 and 8120. Later around 2 pm we saw sudden selling and Nifty tested 8056 only to bounce back and closed around 8095.

In cash segment both Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were sellers. FIIs sold shares worth 146 crores and DIIs 147 crores.

FIIs added 12k Index futures longs and added 17k Index futures shorts.

Based on the Put Call Ratio (PCR), 8200 will be a stiff resistance  and 8000 a good support
