F&O – Open Interest Report for 29th June 2016

Nifty has almost recovered the losses of BREXIT event. Though the rally was on low volumes, Nifty has slowly risen  277 points from the low of 7927 on 24th June, in just three days.

In the cash segment, Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned buyers and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) sold small amounts. FIIs bot 103 crores and DIIs sold 11 crores.

FIIs bought 12,818 contracts in Index futures and shorted 1,633 contracts
In Index calls, FIIs covered 4,645 shorts  and added 867 contracts in longs
In Index puts FIIs bought 9,631 contracts and shorted 4,754 contracts.

PCR data suggests 8300 as resistance and 8100 as support.
