F&O – Open Interest Report for 7th July 2016

⁠⁠⁠The day was volatile but we managed to close flat. Lupin jumped 8% and Tata Steel was Down by 5%. In the FNO segment,  Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold 3,500 contracts in Index futures ,196 contracts in Index calls and bot 6,337 contracts in Index puts. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) are still  net short in Index Futures by 7,338 contracts.

In the cash segment, both FIIs and DIIs were sellers.
FIIs net sold Rs 299.51 Cr in equities
DIIs net sold Rs 159.98 Cr in equities

Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) data shows 8300 as support and 8400 as resistance.

Nifty futures has a good support at 8300.
