Nifty ends above 8550

Nifty ends above 8550. Tata Steel jumps 5%, Motherson and Cadila jump 6%.

In the cash segment FIIs were buyers to the tune of Rs 559 crores and DIIs were net sellers to the tune of Rs 527 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs bought 10,646 contracts of Index Futures but sold 857 contracts of Index calls.
They also bought 29,627 contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 13,463 (reduced by 4,676) in Index Futures contracts.

Nifty Put Call Ratio (PCR) data shows support at 8500 and Resistance at 8700.
