Nifty Ends Flat

Nifty opened flat and was trading in a tight range before breaking 8600. It picked-up later and ended flat for the day.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 0.19  crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net sellers to the tune of Rs 452 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs sold 10,155  contracts of Index Futures and sold  5,368 contracts of Index calls.
They also sold 3,097  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 20,223 (-263) in Index Futures contracts.
