Nifty ends in red as selling intensified in front line stocks. Nifty’s range for the day is 60.7 points and it closed down by  0.88 % compared to Tuesday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 1,451 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net buyers to the tune of  Rs 989 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs sold 4,751 contracts of Index Futures and sold 4,283 contracts of Index calls.
They also bought 15,800  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 10,746 (up 31) in Index Futures contracts.
