Nifty soars 158 points to reclaim 8650. Nifty’s range for the day is 129.2  points and it closed up by  1.85% compared to Monday’s closing value.

In the cash segment Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 345 crores and Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) net buyers to the tune of  Rs 173 crores.

In FNO segment, FIIs sold 8,930 contracts of Index Futures and bought 50,467 contracts of Index calls.
They also sold 7,896  contracts of Index puts.
DIIs  are net short by 6,977 (down 60) in Index Futures contracts.
